SEND Mission Statement

"Wonderfully made, uniquely gifted, equally valued.”’

 (Psalm 139;14; 1 Corinthians 12).

At Stilton Church of England Primary Academy and Pre-School, we believe that every child is uniquely created, valued, and capable of achieving success. Inspired by the words of Psalm 139, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made,” we celebrate the individuality of every learner and recognise the strengths that diversity brings to our school family.

We are committed to ensuring that all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) are fully included in all aspects of school life. Through high-quality teaching, adaptive practice, and carefully planned support, we enable all children to learn alongside their peers and access a broad, ambitious curriculum.

We believe that support should remove barriers, not create limits. Rather than placing a ceiling on achievement, we strive to provide the right provision, at the right time, so that every child can participate, progress and flourish within the classroom. We have high expectations for all learners and are committed to helping each child develop independence, confidence and a love of learning.

We recognise that every child has unique talents and gifts. We foster a culture of belonging where differences are celebrated, strengths are nurtured, and every child knows that they are an important and valued member of our school family.

At Stilton Church of England Primary Academy and Pre-School, our mission is to support all children to achieve the best possible educational and wider outcomes so that they can reach their aspirations and make a successful transition into adulthood.
